This is the complete list — there is no other rate card.
30 min on site. Every module the scanner reaches, with a written report of what's stored.
1 hr on site. We find the actual cause and hand you a repair plan and price — 50% of the fee credits toward labor if you approve the repair.
Booked with less than 24 hours' notice. It's the slot we hold open every day for urgent work — booking a day ahead avoids it entirely.
Sedan, coupe, or hatchback. 45 min at the seller's location, written report with photos.
Larger daily-driver vehicles. 60 min, written report with photos.
European, diesel, or complex drivetrains. 75 min, written report with photos.

What changes the price
An honest range beats a lowball number that grows later. Here's what moves it:
Parts are marked up 10–35% over our cost and itemized on your quote. A sedan's brake pads and a heavy truck's are different money.
A dead battery and a bad alternator can look identical from the driver's seat. That's what the diagnostic is for — you get the real cause and the real price in writing before saying yes.
European, luxury, and diesel vehicles cost more in parts and time. The estimator below adjusts for that.
Less than 24 hours' notice adds the $75 same-day priority fee. Booking a day ahead avoids it entirely.

Almost nobody in this trade publishes prices. We just did.
Where mobile diagnostic calls around St. Louis are published at all, they run $150–$180 — ours is $99.99, with half credited back when you approve the repair. Metro pre-purchase inspections run as high as $400; ours start at $150.
No deposit on mobile visits. Nothing to pay until the work is done. Remote Consultant Advisor sessions are the exception — paid at Square checkout when you book your time.

- Why ranges instead of exact prices online?
- Because an exact price for a car we haven't seen would be a guess, and guesses become arguments. The ranges cover a typical car with a typical failure. The $99.99 diagnostic gets you the real number in writing — what's wrong, what it costs, before any repair work starts.
- Is the diagnostic free if I approve the repair?
- Half of it is. 50% of the $99.99 diagnostic fee credits toward your labor bill when you approve the repair, so the diagnosis effectively costs $49.99.
- Do I pay anything to book?
- Not for mobile visits — scans, diagnostics, and inspections have no deposit, and there's nothing to pay until the work is done. Remote Consultant Advisor sessions are the exception: those are paid at Square checkout when you pick your time.
- Are the repair ranges guaranteed?
- No — they're typical ranges for typical cars, published so you're not booking blind. European, luxury, and diesel vehicles run higher, and so does a failure that turns out to be more than the usual. Your exact price comes as a written quote after the diagnostic, before any repair work starts.
- Why does same-day cost more?
- We keep one slot open every day for urgent work, which means turning down planned bookings for it. The $75 priority fee pays for that slot. Book more than 24 hours ahead and you never pay it.
- Do you charge extra for coming to me?
- The prices on this page are what you pay in our North County St. Louis service area — no separate trip charge on top. If your address is outside the usual area, ask first and we'll tell you straight before you book anything.
